Our Beginnings

Ky Newsome and Kate Shanks co-founded the Kadie Project in 2019 to collect resources to facilitate multicultural education in local schools and daycare facilities.

The Kadie Project is a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2019, we have raised over $5,000 in new educational resources that go directly into the classroom.  The project is named after Ky's daughter Kadie since she is the motivation behind the project.
